Joy in Munich
For more than a decade c-trace has been a part of the IFAT success story. We were more than happy with our participation in this 50th IFAT anniversary year 2016. We look back onto five successful days, a crowded stand and good conversations with customers and potential ones from all over the world. Not only the quantity but especially the quality of the contacts excited us, as most of the visitors were interested in new and efficient solutions for planning and execution of waste collection.
The most interest we saw was in graphical district and route planning. Additionally customers were interested in route recording via FollowMe: This module supports drivers during collection and assists them to drive the most efficient route even without local knowledge. FollowMe is especially the right solution when there is a lack of experienced or temporary personnel.
A live show of our vehicle and telematics systems took place at the outside exhibitions grounds. Mounted on a new “Zoeller REL System’’-vehicle for the first time a dynamic weighing unit for all kinds of industrial skips and container types was demonstrated. This solution makes it possible to weigh waste containers which up to now required an under- body scale.
In terms of RFID chips we presented new developments too: We installed an industrial skip container identification system at an international airport via UHF-transponders with a longer reading range and presented the project.
We would like to say a big ‘thank-you’ to all our IFAT stand visitors. It was as always a pleasure to see you! If you were not able to come to Munich, please contact us for an up-date.
Just prior to the exhibition we launched our new website, this highlights the range of or services to the waste industry presented in an entirely new way. We give an overview of our hardware and software solutions all industry specific.
