Waste management software specialist c-trace has moved into new offices in Cambridge to cope with growth in the business. The company introduced pay-by-weight solutions to the UK five years ago from its base in Germany where it is the market leader in the waste and recycling industry.

c-trace are delighted to announce that we will be returning to the Southern Municipal Exhibition (SME), on the Thursday 18th May 2017. This is an excellent regional one day show. There are a range of industry exhibitors and a fully approved CIWM seminar program.

c-trace has secured its first contract with a local authority after providing Guildford Borough Council with certified dynamic bin-weighing and identification systems for five trade-waste collection vehicles.

c-trace has landed a major order to fit its dynamic weighing systems to Biffa Waste Services refuse and recycling collection vehicles after a successful six-month trial. The German waste management software specialist has already fitted 20 fully-certified and ‘legal-for-trade’ dynamic weighing systems to front-end loader (FEL) vehicles which it delivered to Biffa Waste Services in August. And it will shortly start equipping 24 side-loader vehicles for food and glass collections to Biffa for delivery this winter.

For more than a decade c-trace has been a part of the IFAT success story. We were more than happy with our participation in this 50th IFAT anniversary year 2016. We look back onto five successful days, a crowded stand and good conversations with customers and potential ones from all over the world. Not only the quantity but especially the quality of the contacts excited us, as most of the visitors were interested in new and efficient solutions for planning and execution of waste collection.

Many things happened within this first decade now behind us. In 2005 c-trace started with the idea, to create unique IT-solutions for the waste management industry. The aim was to provide disposal logistics with more individuality, flexibility and mobility.
