UHF chips ensures high reading ranges for
identification of large industrial waste containers.

Higher reading ranges

UHF optimizes Industrial waste management

Our showcased UHF identification for industrial and commercial waste management attracted high levels of interest. UHF (Ultra High Frequency) is especially adapted for high reading ranges. Even steel containers can now be identified accurately within a range of two meters. Up to now the maximum reading range used to be 30 to 40 cm. UHF technology significantly increases the reading range. Using the correct configuration the system can ensure that only UHF chip-equipped waste containers will be identified. As this technology is also used in other application areas there is a serious risk of misdetection of other system chips if configured improperly.
c-trace has successfully installed an UHF chip-based ident system for waste collection in an airport environment. Every night the airport´s waste containers are identified, emptied and weighed. Another area of application for UHF technology is hook lift containers and skip containers.
